Crystal Zepeda, MA

Senior Director of PACE Operations

Crystal first joined Center for Elders’ Independence in 2006 working in the Human Resources department, then worked as an Executive Assistant. Starting in 2013, she was the Center Director for PACE East Oakland for close to seven years. Crystal was promoted again to Senior Director Operations Effectiveness and Safety Officer in 2020 and now proudly serves as the Senior Director of PACE Operations.

Crystal earned her Bachelor of Arts in Cinema from San Francisco State University and returned to college obtaining a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration at Ashford University.

After earning her bachelor’s degree, Crystal found herself in senior healthcare by accident. She fell in love with the diverse seniors who shared their stories and lives with her, especially as a Center Director, building meaningful relationships that make all the work worthwhile. PACE allows her to get creative as she finds ways to make senior lives better.

Crystal loves to run half marathons, challenge herself with obstacle courses and relax watching movies with her husband and three daughters.
