Farhan Amin, MPH
Director of Quality Improvement
Farhan Amin leads CEI’s ongoing efforts to assess and improve the quality and efficiency of processes in all aspects of our organization. With experience and skills in Quality Improvement methodology and implementation, healthcare operations, data analysis, and policy research, he has a strong commitment to providing high-quality healthcare to low-income and underserved communities.
Prior to joining CEI in 2020, Farhan spent the past seven years leading Quality Improvement activities at two distinguished Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) in Northern California, most recently at OLE Health in Napa. FQHCs are community-based healthcare providers that receive federal funds to provide primary care services in underserved areas.
He holds a bachelor of science degree in Molecular Cell Biology (with emphasis on human health and minors in Economics and Psychology) from University of California, Merced; and a master’s degree in Health Policy Management from UCLA’s School of Public Health. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, hiking, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
