Laura Flannigan

Laura is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with a record of driving clinical quality metrics and producing performance improvement results. Prior to joining CEI’s staff in 2019, Laura was responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance and performance improvement programming, ensuring regulatory compliance, and preparing for licensure surveys at Kindred. She managed quality metrics that drove CMS ratings and contractual relationships, directed physician development, and served as post-acute liaison for community partners.

With Manor Care, Laura was responsible for planning and managing all business related activity for a 155-bed Skilled Nursing Facility, with additional oversight responsibilities in multiple centers throughout California and Nevada. She directed teams to provide high quality care, managed clinical metrics and operational outcomes, improved performance, and led regulatory and licensure activity. Laura drove business growth, and developed innovative care models in tightening markets. Laura’s teams excelled at customer service and retention. She served as a preceptor in the leadership development of colleagues.

Laura holds degrees in Business Administration and Nursing from St. Mary’s College. She enjoys spending time with her family and stays busy with her three sons. She takes great pride in working in her community and delivering excellent care to CEI’s members.
