Maia White, MSW, BSN, RN

Director of Home Care and Care Transitions

Maia White is a registered nurse and social worker with more than 35 years of health care and behavioral health experience. Her career has focused on providing care for the most vulnerable populations. Before coming to CEI, Maia developed the Care Transitions and Complex Care Management programs for Alameda Health Systems. She has also had leadership roles in hospice, home care, and behavioral health care management and has been a field instructor for Smith College School for Social Work, Case Western Reserve University, and Cleveland State University.

Maia's background in both social work and nursing inform a whole person approach to the provision of care. She believes that quality care for elders includes much more than managing age-related diseases and symptoms, appreciates CEI's missions to promote autonomy and quality of life while supporting independent living in the community.

Maia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Cleveland State University, and a Master of Social Work degree from Smith College School for Social Work Northampton, Massachusetts. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, music, art, reading, and most importantly, spending time with her two adult children and their partners.
