Safely Vote by Mail

All Californians registered to vote will receive a vote by mail ballot. This allows seniors to vote from the comfort of their homes without traveling to the polling place. Vote by mail ballots will be sent to all registered voters by October 7, 2024. All mailed ballots must be postmarked or dropped off by Tuesday, November 5. It’s free to vote by mail. No stamp required.

Voting is a right given all US Citizens who register to vote. The deadline to register is October 21, 2024.

Register to Vote

If you have moved since the last election or have never voted in California, you will need to register to vote. You can register in 10 different languages online at: Register to Vote

You can also check the status of your registration, political party, language preference, find your polling place and other details. You will need the last four digits of your social security number and your California-issued ID/driver’s license number to verify your identity before accessing your registration status.

Remember the last day to register to vote is Monday, October 21, 2024.
