Q. What is PACE?
A. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services authorized the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, known as "PACE," because it keeps many seniors safe and independent at home, instead of a nursing home in later years.
Center for Elders' Independence is licensed to provide PACE in the East Bay of San Francisco.
Q. What does this cost?
A. Most people pay nothing. There are never co-pays, deductibles or surprise bills.
Q. Is this a doctor group, or insurance?
A. We are both. We have a complete medical network, and are the insurer. Everything that's medically needed is covered.
Q. Is this a permanent decision?
A. No. Your parent is never locked into a contract with us.
PACE is the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly.
Center for Elders' Independence is a member of the National PACE Association.
Center for Elders' Independence is a licensed provider of PACE in the San Francisco East Bay, California.
