Employee Testimonials

“PACE considers the whole person, with the environment — it does not treat only the disease. I like the fact that we are a whole team to deal with each participant. It helps to think that another discipline might be able to persuade a participant to act more reasonably, to better his health.”

Home Care RN

“I think the ability to have daily IDT meetings and working closely with the other disciplines during the day, which are unique to PACE, truly help with patient care. I feel very fortunate to be working with staff who are so dedicated and talented. I feel satisfaction when our participants tell me that they feel loved by us or that they see us as family because it reassures me that we do help improve our participants' lives tremendously.”

MD/Primary Care Provider

“Working at CEI has got me thinking more about aging and human rights issues. My favorite part is getting to know the participants.”

Social Worker

“CEI is my family, even more than my real family. I like the training. It’s good how they make sure you know what you need to know and have what you need to do your job.”

Diversity counts

The East Bay of San Francisco is one of the most ethnically diverse communities in the country. Our participants reflect that broad spectrum and CEI respects their various cultures. That’s why we invite bilingual professionals to join our team.

If you are bilingual, you can help improve the care of seniors who may not be fluent in English and may have trouble finding quality care elsewhere.

Rewarding work

Everyone at CEI works to make sure our low-income seniors remain independent within their communities. And that’s true whether your job is on the health and social services side or the administrative end. Wouldn’t you like to come to work every day knowing that what you do has a major impact on so many of your neighbors?
