Most people pay nothing. There are never co-pays, deductibles or surprise bills.
- There is no cost for people with full Medi-Cal. Our benefits department can help people who previously may not have qualified. New 2022 rules make it easier than ever.
- There is a share-of-cost for people who have a Medi-Cal share of cost.
- For people with Medicare (but not Medi-Cal), there is a monthly premium that depends on financial need - our benefits team can give you a quote.
We are both. We have a complete medical network and are also the insurer. Everything that is medically needed is included.
Center for Elders' Independence is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. "PACE" is for people 55+ who have complex medical conditions. Our goal is for people to live home, in their own community, and help avoid a future in a nursing home.
If you join PACE, you will get all of your medical and personal care from us. Any services outside of our plan have to be pre-approved. If these are not pre-approved, you can be financially liable for those services.
