Chief Information Officer

Amarjit joined Center for Elders’ Independence as the Chief Information Officer in 2024. As CIO, he creates and implements innovative information technology strategies, which aligns with the CEI strategic plan. He provides a future-focused technology roadmap to continue supporting our operational transformation

Amarjit has successfully led digital transformation for the healthcare and social services sector, as well as for global business-to-business products at the most senior levels. His experience encompasses the full range of technological impacts including healthcare applications, infrastructure, data management, and cybersecurity.

With a focus on customer needs and service, Amarjit has a strong record of leadership in partnering with operations, external partners, and other key stakeholders. Additionally, he has served as a Board member for a nonprofit provider of affordable homes and care services in his local community.

Amarjit received his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Electronic Engineering from Staffordshire University in the UK, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from Wolverhampton University. While much of his career has been in the United Kingdom, and he is looking forward to being with family and friends after relocating to the Bay Area.
