The Center for Elders’ Independence has been helping at-risk seniors in The East Bay live at home rather than in nursing homes for over 40 years. We prioritize helping our participants lead an independent lifestyle while helping them maintain and improve their overall health.
Our Charter
We have been supporting our participants' medical, social, emotional, and nutritional needs in the East Bay for over 40 years. Our care spans 11 different disciplines and uses a dedicated team approach as part of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE).

I lost my mother close to 20 years ago. She lived alone without much support and care through multiple health issues. The PACE model of care draws me to CEI. Seeing PACE in action reminds me of what could have been done for her and I am driven to improve the living condition of other seniors, who have sacrificed so much for us.
